Reliability

The Ammeter is based on standard semi-conductor technology.
It consists of two small microprocessors and some basic components like resistors, capacitors, transistors as shown at the picture below.













These components have high reliability as point of reference, if they do not over heat during operation and are protected with filters against over voltages.
These considerations are a design issue handled by experienced electronic engineers who work in heat calculations and protection in the design
.
When semi-conductor technology is designed properly, it has very high reliability in the area of 10 FIT (1E-8 failures/hour ).
